Environmental Health
The Environmental Health Section of the Toe River Health District has the responsibility
of ensuring that our residents and visitors have a clean and healthy environment in which to
live, work and play. This is accomplished through education, enforcement of state and county
regulations, and an inspections program.

The NC Division of Environmental Health provides technical guidance and delegation of authority to the Toe River District’s Environmental Health staff.
